Over 7530 guitarists attempt Guinness World Record in Poland's Wroclaw
WROCLAW, POLAND - MAY 1: In a remarkable display of musical unity, 7531 guitarists congregated in Wroclaw's Market Square on Wednesday (May 1), aiming to set a new Guinness World Record Playing the iconic song 'Hey Joe' in unison, participants strummed their guitars with fervor, hoping to surpass the existing record.
Though putting up a solid effort, the guitarists fell short by 437 participants, as the current record stands at 7967, established in 2023 according to the event's dedicated website.
This annual gathering, held on May 1st, continues to draw thousands of guitar enthusiasts who converge to play music together, fostering a sense of camaraderie and celebrating their shared passion for music.
