Hundreds of skiers had to be evacuated from the Deer Valley Ski Resort due to a mechanical failure on Christmas Eve, December 24. According to the officials, the Carpenter Express Chairlift experienced a 'mechanical failure', and evacuation procedures were implemented to get skiers off the lift.
