English celebrities join large pro-Palestine rally outside Israeli Embassy in London

LONDON, UK - MARCH 22, 2025: Hundreds of pro-Palestine protestors gathered outside the Israeli Embassy in London on Saturday, March 22, to condemn the renewed Israeli attacks on Gaza. Among the protestors were English singer Paloma Faith, The Crown actor Khalid Abdalla and English actress Juliet Stevenson, who delivered remarks in solidarity with Palestine. "Even after watching months of this genocide, I wasn't prepared for this new depths of brutality, to which Israel has descended," Paloma Faith said. "So we come here again to keep calling for an end, to demand that our complicit government ceases the sale of arms to Israel, and to insist on the imperative that international humanitarian law must be upheld. And we will do that for as long as it takes", Juliet Stevenson said. More than 700 Palestinians were killed and over 1,000 others injured in a surprise aerial campaign by Israel on Gaza since Tuesday, shattering a ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement that took hold in January. Nearly 50,000 Palestinians have been killed, mostly women and children, and more than 113,000 injured in a brutal Israeli military onslaught on Gaza since October 2023. Last November, the International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave. (Footage by Muhammed Yaylali/Anadolu Agency via Getty Images)
