Chairman Schiff rejects GOP arguments that all Trump impeachment evidence was hearsay

House Select Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff of California says in his closing statement after testimony by witnesses Fiona Hill and David Holmes at a seventh public impeachment hearing of President Donald Trump that the impression Republicans would leave was that all evidence was hearsay, direct evidence about a White House meeting between Trump and Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky being withheld did not need to be considered, documented evidence, text messages about quid pro quo did not need to be considered including State Department documents where Ambassador Gordon Sondland communicated directly with Secretary of State Mike Pompeo about the investigative interest of Trump and Ukraine, that all documents were then hearsay.
