Congressman McCarthy ambivalent about Van Drew party switch amid Trump impeachment

House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy of California is asked by reporter at a weekly press conference as the House Rules Committee was preparing an impeachment resolution against President Donald Trump about New Jersey Congressman Jeff Van Drew switching parties to join Republicans amid the impeachment, but McCarthy cannot blame him for disappointment in Democrats as Americans were after saying that would be different, McCarthy suggesting other Democrats would be disappointed also for being taken out there would at governing in a different manner in seeking bipartisanship but for punishing him for his own voice.
