Congressman Cummings criticizes gross ethics abuses in Trump cabinet
House Oversight and Reform Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings of Maryland says at a press conference with Democrats to introduce HR 1, the For the People Act, that gross abuses were seen in the Trump administration such as by former EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt and Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke, the bill strengthens executive branch accountability including the president such as requiring a president to disclose financial interests, and banning officials from lobbying their own agencies for two years after leaving government.
