Fred Upton Remarks on Daily Fantasy Sports Gaming

House Energy and Commerce Committee Chairman Fred Upton of Michigan remarks at a hearing of a subcommittee inquiring into all the sports gambling in the form of what he calls the explosive growth of a new segment of the fantasy world, daily fantasy sports. Upton says that sometimes millions of dollars are at stake, and in reviewing the activity, a consumer protections have to be in place for players on such websites who deserve a fair game and clear rules. Upton says he wants to learn about regulatory activities put into place and technological tools being used to protect consumers such as geographic and age limits.
