House Appropriations Committee ranking Republican Kay Granger of Texas says at a weekly press conference by Republican leadership that all are putting all the can into writing a funding bill but all would be for not when Democrats had not written to build President Donald Trump would support, written to a number sort of like playing cards without the whole deck because it was $176 billion above a budget without a budget agreement so Democrats were passing bills that would never become law, really a waste of time and particularly concerning with such an enormous need for the crisis at the border which should be worked on in a bipartisan way, needing a supplemental, saying border officials are running out of money as Republican said repeatedly, 40 to 60 percent of border patrol for using their time providing care and feeding and processing migrants, they were not, the government overburdened and it must come to a decision, the Senate worked on that and Democrats would continue to try to work in a bipartisan way but Democrats continue to bring bills that have poison pills and do not support what Republicans and Americans have supported for so many years.
