Congresswoman Granger opens debate on second FY24 continuing resolution
House Appropriations Committee Chair Kay Granger says in floor debate on a bill to extend government funding to two dates in a so called laddered approach that progress of seven Appropriations bills accounting for 75 percent of government funding and expressing support for the speaker's plan to avoid government shutdowns, buy time for negotiations, and separate discussions on supplemental funding, urging colleagues to back the CR.
