The Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station Opens To The Public

HOKKAIDO, JAPAN - DEC. 9:JR Hokkaido opened the Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto station building to the news media on December 10. The station will be the starting and terminal station for the Hokkaido Shinkansen scheduled to begin operation in March of next year. The building, which was completed in September, features a glass facade that offers a view of Mt. Hakodate when the weather is fine.
