Tupac Shakur on Trying to Break Free of the Status Quo
Interviewer: Here’s a guy who’s trying to break through the status quo I think is fair to say. Do you identify strongly with that?
Tupac: Definitely. That’s my motto. That’s my life’s work, to break free of the status quo.
I think Lucky was mainly driven by ambition. That was his main thing. So by being ambitious, he also wanted to be a good father. Him being from a broken home, he wanted to have a complete home for his daughter and so that’s what drove him to look for justice.
