Youngsters aged 16-17 in Northern Ireland ‘quite excited’ to get Covid vaccine
Healthy 16-17 year olds in Northern Ireland become the first in the UK to receive a Covid-19 jab.
Among those who took up walk in appointments at the SSE Arena in Belfast were Elliot Aston from Newtownards, Co Down, Meabh Magee from Glengormley, Co Antrim, Jason Morrison from Bangor, Co Down and Jorja Johnston from Carrickfergus who admitted she had had misgivings about the jab but was persuaded by her mum Robyn.
