SchweikerÌýTamper Resistant Packaging
Health and Human Services Health Sectary RichardÌýSchweikerÌýtalks about how one will be able to identify if a bottle of Tylenol pain medicine has been tampered with due to new packaging designs. This as eight people died in Chicago after taking Tylenol that was laced with Cyanide poison. SchweikerÌýsays, "This tamper resistant product would have a visible indication if it was broken into or opened in someway. In addition, it would have a distinctive mark on its tamper resistantÌýbarriersÌýso that people could doublyÌýascertain."
