A group of shoppers and employees worked together to trap several people they said were trying to burgle a store at an outlet mall in Antioch, Tennessee, on Saturday, June 1, according to https://www.wsmv.com/video/2024/06/03/shoppers-step-stop-alleged-burglary/ local reports and a video posted to TikTok. In the video, a voice says, "The robbers are stuck in the store," as the group comments on the unusual situation. TikTok user @ptodropout told Storyful that her son was shopping in the Perfumania store when four people wearing masks came in. "The store manager ran out the back and locked the door while my son and another employee ran out the front. They were able to yell for help. Four bystanders were able to hold the front door shut to keep the robbers in," she told Storyful. In the video, several people can be seen using their bodies to keep the shop door shut, trapping four people inside. Storyful has not confirmed whether the people seen running along the highway are the same people shown in the store video.
