Freshman Oregon Congresswoman Lori Chavez Deremer says at a press conference held at RNC headquarters that the strategic petroleum reserve was intended for emergencies, it was clear that Congress needs to act are the people who elected Republicans expect them to have a plan, so the pending Strategic Production Response Act requires a plan that Oregonians and Americans asked, to pay attention to domestic energy production if the SPR was tapped for those non emergency purposes.
