Freshman Michigan Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib says on the 19th day of a partial government shutdown in her first floor remarks that in Wayne County there were low income families, low income and elderly whose housing contracts had expired who cannot fly to Mar-a-Lago to stay warm in winter, shut down and caused the housing and urban development department to stop inspections putting them in harms way, concluding President Donald Trump could sleep soundly while playing partisan games, uplifting the neighbors to let them know people care about them.
