Soap Bubbles Freeze in Ice-Cold Minnesota
Freezing cold weather in Graceville, Minnesota, was enough to crystallize soap bubbles on Sunday, January 29. Footage recorded by Carol Bauer shows ice spreading quickly on several soap bubbles. Bauer told Storyful it was "bitterly cold", but that: "I enjoy watching all the different patterns appear especially with sunset in the background. On this day it was a bit windy for doing this at 10 mph but it still worked fairly well." The National Weather Service in Aberdeen, South Dakota, the local forecasting station covering Graceville, https://twitter.com/NWSAberdeen/status/1619625945601810433/photo/1 said temperatures in nearby Wheaton hit lows of -29 degrees Fahrenheit on Sunday.
