Former Detroit Police Chief James Craig officially announced he is running for governor of Michigan in 2022 at a raucous press conference on Tuesday, September 14. This footage shows protesters chanting "James Craig has got to go!" and Craig arriving for his announcement speech. The protesters are seen blowing horns and whistles, drowning Craig out as he tries to make his speech. The Michigan gubernatorial election is scheduled to take place on November 8, 2022.
