Congressman Yoho floor remarks on seeking report on 5G threats to US national cybersecurity

Florida Congressman Ted Yoho says his proposed amendment to the annual intelligence bill includes in a report on 5G technology the threat to US security posed by technology companies under the jurisdiction of a foreign adversary like China, Russia, Iran, North Korea and Syria, covering fats from acquisitions, importations, transfers and of technology by any person subject to US jurisdiction that involve technology design, developed or controlled by a foreign adversary, as globalization shapes the world to understand that the US prioritize cyber networks and infrastructure, that China controls over 60 percent of the 5G networks in the world, in 2012 the House intelligence committee deemed telecommunications companies Huawei and ZTE national security threats and seven years later they continue to threaten cyber security interests, asking if the US should continue to allow them to continue to proliferate in networks and put national security at risk, to continue maximum pressure on the malicious companies until they can ensure the actors to not pose threats to national security.
