Congressman Steube says Hamas and Lebanese government are not separate in debate on funding bill
Florida Congressman Greg Steube speaks in support of his amendment to the FY25 State and Foreign Operations appropriations bill to prohibit funds from being provided to the Lebanese Armed Forces because US taxpayer funds should not go to the Lebanese Armed Forces, which he argues is heavily influenced by Hezbollah and indirectly supports terrorism. The amendment later failed by a 103-308 vote.
