EXT DAY MS PAN-RIGHT Five handcuffed men are escorted out of the Superior Court in D.C., into a police van. The five handcuffed men, accused Watergate burglars are James McCord, Frank Sturgis, Virgilio Gonzalez, Eugenio Martinez and Bernard L. Barker. The Watergate incident is a political scandal resulting from the break-in of the Democratic National Committee headquarters at the Watergate office complex in Washington, D.C. leading to the resignation of the President Richard Nixon.
