INT MS INT MS During 2011 budget battle members of the House Democratic Caucus hold a press conference to discuss the debate over funding for Title 10 womens health issues, especially Planned Parenthood, and whether it will lead to a government shutdown. Democratic New York Representative Carolyn McCarthy states, "The biggest folly in my opinion about this is no federal funding. I don't care what you hear, no federal funding goes toward abortions. Those services for abortions that are used come from other sources besides the federal government. People need to understand that. House Republicans have always used the bogeyman of abortion to cut essential healthcare services for women."
