Defense attorney Michael van der Veen says during presentation on fourth day of Senate impeachment trial of former President Donald Trump for incitement of insurrection that a man claiming to be inspired by Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders came to Washington to watch a softball game and kill as many senators and Congressmen as possible, not to be forgotten that Trump did not blame that Senator, Maine Senator Susan Collins at her house surrounded by angry mobs of protesters which unnerved her, a House manager tweeting to cry me a river, under their standards each of the individuals should be retroactively censored, expelled, published or punished impeached for inciting violence by the supporters, unlike the left though Trump had been entirely consistent in his opposition a mob violence in all forms in all places just as he was consistent the National Guard should be deployed to protect American communities wherever needed.
