Couple of Streamer-tailed Tyrant (Gubernetes yetapa) singing. - 4K stock video
It reaches an average of 42 centimeters, including its long, forked tail. It also has a gray upper side, black wings and tail, a wing with a large rusty mirror; throat white and outlined with a brown band; the female has a shorter tail and measures around 35 centimeters in length. There is a song at dawn. The male rhythmically wags his tail, raises his wings displaying the light reddish stripe, in front of the female.
The only species with which it can be confused is the earwig (Tyrannus savana), which has white underparts, a black head and broader tail feathers.
