Colombian cowboys continue to work with traditional methods
ARAUCA, COLOMBIA - DECEMBER 15: Colombian cowboys raise cattle following traditional methods on vast pastures along the Venezuelan border in the Colombian city of Arauca.
Cowboys work hard every day on the east side of the country, where vast tropical grasslands, long rivers and wildlife still exist.
The shifts of the cowboys in this wide area, which is flooded between May and October due to heavy rains, start at 3.00 a.m. and continue until 6.00 p.m.
Despite all the difficulties of the job, cowboys are happy to do their jobs with traditional methods and live in harmony with nature. (Footage by Juan Jaiver Torres Padilla/Anadolu Agency via Getty Images)
