Climate protesters have gathered outside the Excel centre in east London ahead of oil giant Shell’s annual general meeting. Groups include Christian Climate Action, a branch of Extinction Rebellion; Catholic protest group Laudato Si’ Movement; and Quakers for Climate Justice. They have arrived with banners reading: “Your greed is killing humanity” and “Stand with the Pope. Stand up to fossil fuels”.
