Climate activists stage protest during 2025 Nobel Prize ceremony in Stockholm

STOCKHOLM, SWEDEN - DEC. 10, 2025: Climate activists staged a protest outside the 2025 Nobel Prize ceremony held in Sweden’s capital, Stockholm, on Wednesday, Dec. 10.As laureates in physics, medicine, chemistry, economics, and literature received their awards, around 100 activists gathered in front of the Concert Hall, accusing companies funding the prizes of earning profits through practices that harm forests and the environment.The awards were presented by Sweden’s King Carl XVI Gustaf. This year’s physics prize went to John Clarke, Michel Devoret, and John Martinis, while the chemistry award was given to Susumu Kitagawa, Richard Robson, and Omar M.
