Clarence “Gatemouth” Brown and the Bluebeats perform unidentified instrumental (live), joined by young adult African-American female dancers. Saxophonist performs a solo while trumpeter tosses his trumpet in the air. Drummer performs a brief drum solo. Host Bill “Hoss” Allen thanks “Gatemouth” Brown and the Bluebeats. “Hoss” Allen identifies the drummer as Freeman Brown and the Tenor saxophonist as David “Flathead” Newman. “Hoss” Allen introduces Etta James.
