Senator Schumer urges Trump to maintain ZTE sanctions
Chuck Schumer says that President Donald Trump and Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin for sending a danger signal to businesses around the world that the United States is willing to forgive sanction violations will reduce penalties, emboldening foreign companies to play fast and loose with sanctions when the US should be putting the fear of God into those companies like brazen is ETE, that uniformly enforcing sanctions is a critical diplomatic tool, the Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Interior Secretary Ryan Zinke sought to crack down on ZTE in the national security implications of removing the ban on components and software.
