Man speaking about COVID-19-caused damage in American society
WGN - Chicago, IL, U.S. - Man speaking about COVID-19-caused damage in American society. Chicagoland entertainment workers along with congress members gathered at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois to raise awareness of COVID-19’s devastation on their industry, their livelihoods and their families. The Allstate Arena event was part of a nationwide effort to encourage Congress to pass the RESTART Act (S.3814), which offers relief to an industry that’s been shuttered since March and to have Congress extend the Pandemic Unemployment Assistance for middle class families put out of work by COVID-19. On Tuesday, September 1, 2020.
