"Abeno Harukas Candle" will shine like a Christmas candle ¡¡ Twice a year, on November 21 and January 21, 30 days before and after the winter solstice, the entire "ABENO HARUKAS" in Abeno-ku, Osaka City, glows red like a Christmas candle as it reflects the light just before the setting sun. From the balcony of our apartment house in Nakayama-Sakuradai, just below the summit of "Mt. Nagao" in Takarazuka City, you can see the skyscraper of "Abeno Harukas" 300 meters above the ground in front of us. (25 kilometers away). The first time I saw it was on November 21, 2015. On November 21, 2020, it felt like a Covid-19 alert. Today's (November 21, 2023) brilliantly shining "Abeno Harukas Candle" seemed like a "Christmas Candle" promising "peace and hope" in this post-Covid-19 year, before the "Advent" celebration of Christ's birth.
