- ship was turning all time had to rush from one side to the other/ action at sea was few minutes/ if weren't prepared to move quickly wouldn't have got anything

- cameramen had clockwork cameras which they had to wind up/ springs ran fro 30-40 secs/ reels lasted for one minute before they had to re-load/ on D-Day itself the cameramen were equipped with 10 reels of film - 10 minutes to cover all action on D-Day
