California Congressman Derek Tran says at a news conference by the Dads Caucus to criticize Trump Administration trade and tariff policy for impacts on family incomes and household budgets that President Trump's tariffs were just another example of the fact that this Administration seemed to have only one tool in their toolbox, a sledgehammer, as instead of fixing schools they dismantled the Department of Education, instead of delivering better healthcare they cut funding for Medicaid, and instead of investing in American industry had imposed reckless tariffs that would slow production and raise prices.
