Congressman Higgins calls out systemic fraud by Wells Fargo
Buffalo New York area Congressman Brian Higgins says in the well of the House that Wells Fargo perpetrated misconduct against millions of its own customers by opening degenerating accounts without authorization, changing mortgage terms without customer knowledge and forcing automobile loan customers into insurance products they did not need or want, a blatant, egregious culture of corruption for which he calls on the Federal Housing Administration to immediately ban the bank from participation in the Federal Mortgage Guarantee Program, having violated its public trust.
