Boo, a well-loved grizzly bear who lives at a ski resort in Golden, British Columbia, was filmed emerging from under piles of snow as he woke from hibernation on March 12. Video of the moment was posted by Kicking Horse Mountain Resort, where, since being orphaned in 2003, the 22-year-old Boo has occupied a 20-acre refuge, according to https://calgaryherald.com/news/local-news/golden-bc-grizzly-boo-emerges-hibernation local media . "Boo had sensed the warm weather and decided to come out and enjoy some of the sunshine! He will be in and out of his den over the next few weeks," Kicking Horse Mountain Resort wrote on social media. "It's good to see you, big guy," they added.
