A bloat of hippopotamuses was seen walking down a main street in Saint Lucia, South Africa, in late January. This footage captured by Lloyd von Plaster shows the three hippos walking down Mckenzie Street in Saint Lucia at night. Von Plaster said that he was having dinner at a nearby restaurant when he noticed the hippos. According to https://stluciasouthafrica.com/largest-population-of-hippos-in-south-africa/">Heritage Tours and Safari , a local tour company, there are approximately 800 hippos - one of the largest hippo populations in Africa - in the nearby iSimangaliso Wetland Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
