The Central Station was to be moved - that is not to be now, only the part for compulsory purchase of land - that is the gross unfairness. Took a gamble to some extent on original central station scheme. GV Golden Mile tilt to Harold Grimbledeston (Lord Mayor) with George Ffitch: They going to redevelop Golden Mile to be a pleasanter place for residents and visitors. Compensation is difficult matter - they're going to work on 1938 Act. Loaned money by Treasury. Will try to alleviate suffering to any person or persons.
