Black bread mould, SEM - HD stock video
Black bread mould (Rhizopus stolonifer) on a grain of wheat (Triticum sp.), coloured scanning electron microscopy (SEM) footage. This widely distributed filamentous mould is commonly found on bread surfaces. The filaments of the mould are seen moving in this clip. This motion is caused by electrostatic effects and heat from the electron beam used to produce this image. The field-of-view at the start of the clip is around 400 by 800 micrometres
