- It was huge / he was an integral part of my career and life to be fair / he played a massive part; once I got the call for the movie career he was the first person I called / he was the guy who looked over my contracts / when I wanted to fight at Goodison Park which he knew from the first day he met me, it wasn't happening, and then once certain things took place behind the scenes, he made it happen
Q: WHAT MADE HIM DIFFERENT TO EVERYONE ELSE
- He was a unicorn / a complete one off / I couldn't put into words how brilliant he was / knew everything and anything about Everton Football Club / some facts that historians won't even know / he adored and loved the club, loved the fans, loved the people / he was one of us - we grew up in a similar place in Wavertree and he always looked out for me and I'll never forget that / what he did for this football club, he was instrumental; our football club wouldn't be what it is today if it wasn't for him / he saved us at a time when we needed saving / I was able to talk to him and spend time with him and just get to know him and what a brilliant, great man he was.
