Inequality income gap getting wider in San Francisco
VOICED: Barack Obama is expected to use tonight's State of the Union address to call for action to tackle growing income inequality in the United States. The economic recovery has disproportionately benefited the country's wealthy and is leaving the bulk of the population behind.
The Californian city of San Francisco, and the technological heartland of Silicon Valley to its south, have become symbols of the resulting tensions. Shows shuttle bus pulls up to stop to collect workers, workers file on to G bus to be transported to Silicon Valley, bus on road & road sign for Google, Sacred Heart food bank, interviews with Ramona Lopez, mother, Keisha Stephens, estate agent and Robert Reich, Former US labour Secretary.
