Bafta announces breakthrough Brits for 2019
Bafta has named its breakthrough Brits for 2019, 20 of the UK's most promising future films of film, games and television. Vicky Knight, who survived an arson attack and contemplated suicide before landing her first film role, said she cried on learning she had been named by Bafta. 'Sex Education' writer Laurie Nunn said it was "a lovely surprise" to be named.
