Adorable Rescued Baby Skunk Works on Walking Skills With New Family
A baby skunk rescued from the side of a busy Louisiana highway after his mother was hit by a car in early June was recorded practicing his walking skills. Leslie Greene recorded https://www.tiktok.com/@greenewildlife/video/7243153486240697642 of the tiny skunk being bottle-fed after someone spotted him and brought him to https://www.tiktok.com/@greenewildlife River Bandit Wildlife Rescue . Greene told Storyful the animal was on the side of the road for several days and would not leave his mother's side. "Finally someone stopped and picked it up and brought him to our wildlife rescue," she said. "We named him Milo. Milo has two meanings: soldier and merciful. We thought it fit him perfect!" Greene told Storyful Milo is now with two other adorably clumsy orphaned baby skunks. She said all three will be released into the wild this fall, when they are grown.
