Transport briefing for Paris 2024 held at Olympics headquarters in Saint-Denis
PARIS, FRANCE - JUNE 14, 2024: Authorities organized a briefing at Olympic headquarters in French capital to discuss transport plans for the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games on Friday (June 14):
Transport has been considered a crucial element for the success of the Games and a major collective challenge.
The transport system will serve 41 Olympic competition venues (including 25 in the Ile-de-France region) and 20 Paralympic competition venues (including 17 in the Ile-de-France region) for 29 days in the summer of 2024.
Around 200,000 accredited participants and millions of spectators from all over the world will come to attend and watch the Paris 2024 Games.
The Olympic Games, known as an international multi-sport event held every four years, is set to bring together athletes from over 200 countries.
Games was held in Paris twice, in 1900 and 1924.
