Cast of 'The Light' addresses press conference at Berlin Film Festival
BERLIN, GERMANY - FEB. 13, 2025: At the 75th Berlin International Film Festival (Berlinale), a press conference was held for the film 'The Light' on Thursday, Feb. 13.
Director Tom Tykwer, producer Uwe Schott, actress Nicolette Krebitz, actress Tala Al-Deen, and actor Lars Eidinger attended the press conference.
The Light is a German-French drama directed by Tom Tykwer. The narrative centers on Tim and Milena Engels, who live with their twins, Frieda and Jon, and Milena's son, Dio, in a Berlin apartment. Their routine existence is disrupted by the arrival of Farrah, a mysterious housekeeper from Syria, whose presence challenges the family's dynamics and uncovers hidden emotions.
The film premiered at the Berlinale on February 13, 2025, and is scheduled for theatrical release in Germany on March 20, 2025.
