At least 32 people died 63 others were injured in a traffic accident in Egypt
BEHEIRA, EGYPT - OCTOBER 28, 2023: At least 32 people lost their lives, and 63 people were injured in a traffic accident that occurred in the north of Egypt on Saturday (Oct. 28)
According to the Egyptian Ministry of Health, a traffic accident occurred near the Wadi el-Natrun region in the northern part of the country, involving a passenger bus and several vehicles on the Cairo-Alexandria desert road.
After the accident, some of the vehicles caught fire.
The Egypt-based newspaper "Egypt Today" stated that the accident was caused by heavy fog and adverse weather conditions.
