MOSCOW, RUSSIA - JULY 10: As part of the struggle against the novel coronavirus, Russia opened mass vaccination centers in the capital in order to speed up the vaccination process. As the daily COVID-19 cases started to increase again as of June, the Russian authorities decided to make vaccination obligatory for citizens working in the public institutions and service sector. The vaccination process continues slowly due to the lack of insufficient participation in Russia, and the number of people vaccinated so far has risen to 23 million in the country where the mass vaccination process started from the beginning of the year. In order to accelerate the vaccination process, mass vaccination centers are opened in various regions of the country. Citizens can be vaccinated with Russian-made "Sputnik V" or "Sputnik Light" vaccines after going through medical tests.
