Every Day, At 8 O'Clock, Paris Falls Asleep In Gratitude

Anastasia Lapina films sunsets every day and her neighbors applauding the doctors for their work. The words of the author: "Today we are confined to 4 walls and my social contacts are limited to my phone and the neighbors opposite, with whom we applaud the doctors every day at 8 o'clock. You know, they're amazing! Today, Carolyn and I made a heart out of stickers and hung it on the window. In gratitude to the doctors and our beloved neighbors. I admire the heroism of medical professionals! But for me personally, my neighbors are also heroes. The guys in the building on the right take out the Tom-Tom every night to turn up the volume. The neighbors on the 29th floor are doing color music and fire effects, and my favorite family with small children across the street is still clapping and making us coucou. _ _ Our applause lasts for 5 minutes. Every day, even if I don't go out, I stand at the window. Shout. Sing. Applaud. And for me, these 5 minutes are not only an opportunity to thank the doctors, but also just an ordinary socialization._ I wish this nightmare would end soon. So that we Wake up and life begins to boil again. For sure, the world will not be the same, but it is in our hands to make it better. And this daily applause at 8 o'clock with the neighbors gives me hope that this will be the case!" (Footage by StringersHub via Getty Images)
