Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski says in debate on confirming Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court that a good man with sterling academic credentials, unblemished professional record as a professional lawyer and a judge, husband and father of two young girls had been damaged terribly, that as sexual assault accuser Christine Blasey Ford and Kavanaugh had been harmed their families had been, we must do better by them and as a legislative branch with a moral obligation to do better.
