A 4-alarm vegetation fire broke out in the Belmont, San Mateo, California on Monday, September 21 afternoon. It prompted several home evacuations. According to officials, the fire broke out in the San Juan Canyon area shortly before 16:00 pm. Belmont Police announced that San Juan Canyon from East Laurel Creek Road to Cipriani Boulevard had been evacuated due to the fire.39sec sec video .
