Akon (singer and entrepreneur) SOT: "no not at all - he's an old business partner - unfortunately you know we had a bad breakup, and he was utilising the media as a way of trying to destroy me or put negative information out there, you know to kinda question my credibility - but nothing stopped anything-" Presenter SOT: "Has your dispute resolved then? or are..." Akon (singer and entrepreneur) SOT: "It's completely resolved (nods affirmatively) - completely 100 percent resolved - " Presenter SOT: "-has he been paid?" Akon (singer and entrepreneur) SOT: "I wouldn't say he has been paid - he was always paid - he wanted to continue doing business with me in certain sectors and I just refused - and unfortunately that was the punishment that I had to pay for saying no" Presenter SOT: "Now perhaps what's most intriguing - the city is supposed to be being driven by a crypto currency which is already live - ACOIN-" Akon (singer and entrepreneur) SOT: "Right - That was when the project started, there has been some changes (laughs) - unfortunately because of the, you know, the volatility of cryptocurrency and not knowing where it is at today - we had to change complete directions on it because - ultimately now we are getting real investments from some major situations and we wanted to make sure that we kept the trust that the people have invested in the city - and the least thing I wanted to do - last thing actually, was to create a risk factor for the people that is believing in this project, so we decided to delete the crypto side of it and the city until the development of it - until even myself is more confident is more crypto is going before we add it to the...
